There will be someone there to fill me up

When I am discouraged

There will someone there to believe in me

When I am doubtful

There will be someone there to remind me of the person God made me

When I am feeling Not So Pretty

There will be someone there to tell me that I am beautiful inside and out and that no one compares

When I am lonely

There will be someone there to keep me company and share moments with

When I accomplish something

There will be someone there who will applaud me and cheer me on and be my biggest fan

There will be someone that will be excited to know too

When I have to express my feelings, emotions and ideas

There will be someone there who really wants to listen

When I want to go on an adventure in life

There will be someone there ready with backpacks and tools and enthusiasm

When I want to be loved as a Woman

There is someone there who will be filled with Passion for me

Upside of Anger

I have posted this quote before. It is from the movie, The Upside of Anger. And it’s one of the first things said in the movie. What grabbed me about this quote - was it left me thinking - IS there really an upside to Anger??

YES.

How? You might ask? Well, I believe everyone has a choice. I believe that ALL of those things that make a person angry have the power to Chip away at the person you are - BUT it can also transform you to the person you were meant to be.

I don’t mean that BEING angry and negative and bitter is going to do this for you.

What I mean is that when you become angry at what life throws your way - you can channel that fury. You can make a conscious choice to use that “fury” as the fuel. The energy to transform and become.

Many people become bitter, lonely, mean, hateful people because of the things that happen to them. And sometimes we can never understand the hurts that some people go through. But at that point, who are they hurting being that way?

I can either become that person, victim of circumstance - or I can let the turbulent waters of life smooth me out to become something else - something better. Every time you do not bow down to your anger - you transform. You free yourself. You Define yourself as a person. Everytime you overcome. You are!

Don’t let the anger swallow you. Use the anger to fuel the passion you have to be someone else - someone better. Someone you never imagined but have become. Let the anger make you a better person. Because you chose not to bow down to the life Anger was wanting to offer you, but you chose to let the obstacles of anger mold you out - to become stronger and refined.

It’s real, though - the fury, even when it isn’t. It can change you… turn you… mold you and shape you into something you’re not. The only upside to anger, then… is the person you become. Hopefully someone that wakes up one day and realizes they’re not afraid to take the journey, someone that knows that the truth is, at best, a partially told story. That anger, like growth, comes in spurts and fits, and in its wake, leaves a new chance at acceptance, and the promise of calm. Then again, what do I know? I’m only a child.

I don’t know. I guess I would be afraid of not knowing if I will really be happy there.

Do you think you would be happier here, then?

No.

Then what is stopping you?

Because even in my pain and hurt, I still have the ability to love those who have hurt me.

Do you think that they will be there, with you, behind that door?

Yes.

Why?

Because in that world too, I love them.

Are you ready now?

Yes.

Open the door.

I am a woman.
Confident of who I am.

With a sparkle in my smile.

My knight in shining armour IS my Prince Charming.
He is also My Frog Prince.
I am addicted to kissing.
I believe Rainbows are magical.

I hurt and cry for people that I have never met.
Colors fascinate me and make me come alive with excitement.
My camera is my way of capturing your soul and collecting them frozen in moments in time.
I rarely paint my fingernails but am giddy when I do.
I like the sound a charm bracelet makes - for I think it’s the sound that little fairies make when happy.
Books are my way of traveling. I turn the page to different places, different emotions and feelings with different people.
I believe that butterflies choose us to land on, if we are lucky - and so do ladybugs - because they can feel the pureness of our heart.
I know that stars are really millions of smiles of people that are no longer here on earth with us.
Lightning bugs STILL amuse me to this very day - just as I was a little girl.
I have been in love with my ONE and ONLY since I was a little girl - i waited all my life to find him.
Cotton candy is best enjoyed with a bit on your face :p
I am a Romantic at heart and have a pair of rose colored glasses.
I walk on the clouds - 9 of them to be precise.
bubble baths are a true art form.
I paint with my heart and you see what I feel when you look at my paintings.
Laughter is the best medicine.
Love is the cure.

Some of my best days as a child were spent in a Mimosa Tree that had blooms as soft as a kiss and as sweet as my cotton candy dreams. I LOVED this tree in our back yard! I have many memories laying around in the thick branches enveloped in the aroma of the blooms, letting my imagination run wild.

My favorite vintage artist, Jesus Helguera captured some of the most unforgettable beautiful Latin women in his art. There was always an innocent seduction in their eyes that made them so alluring.

Bella Bear - My Little Snuggle Bunny
